An essay can be described as the writing piece that expresses the author’s viewpoint. The thesis statement is the most important part of every essay. The thesis statement anchors the entire essay. The thesis statement must be concise and clear. It should also be able to address the primary idea of the essay. It shouldn’t be arguing against the views in the body of work. However, it should be supportive of them. The thesis will also decide whether the essay will be awarded any prizes.
